Terms and Refund Policy

These terms apply when you use https://www.cashflowforecasttemplates.co.uk (the “site”) and when you download or buy templates from us. Please read them before buying. By using the site or placing an order, you agree to them.

Guides, calculator and templates are not advice
Our guides, calculator and templates are general educational and planning tools. They are not financial, accounting, tax, legal or investment advice, and they don’t take account of your particular circumstances. Forecasts are estimates based on the figures and assumptions you enter; actual results will differ.
You are responsible for the figures you enter, the assumptions you make and the decisions you take. For advice about your business, speak to a qualified professional who knows your situation. Where our guides mention tax rules, deadlines or regulations, these can change and vary between countries; always check the current position with the relevant authority or your adviser.
Using the site
You may read, print and share links to our guides for personal and internal business use. You may not copy substantial parts of the site, republish our guides or templates, or use automated tools to scrape the site for commercial purposes, without our written permission. Brief quotations with a link back to the source page are welcome.
Free templates
Free templates are provided free of charge for use in your own business or household. You may edit them as you wish. You may not sell them, redistribute them as templates, or offer them for download elsewhere. We may ask for your email address before a free download; see our privacy policy.
Premium templates: your licence
When you buy a premium template, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use it:
- Single template: for your own business, or for one business you own or manage. You may edit it, add lines and share copies with people who work in or for that business, such as your staff, bookkeeper, accountant or lender, for the purpose of managing that business.
- Bundle: includes a commercial licence. You may also use the templates with your own clients, adapt them, and deliver completed or customised forecasts to clients as part of your services, including with your own branding on the Start Here tab.
Under any licence you may not: sell, sublicense, share publicly or redistribute the templates, or any substantially similar copy, as templates in their own right; include them in a product or download for sale; or remove notices of ownership. The templates, guides and site content remain our intellectual property.
Prices and payment
Prices are shown on each product page in GBP. Any sales tax or VAT that applies is shown or calculated at checkout. Payments are processed securely by Stripe; we don’t see or store your full card details. We may change prices at any time, but changes won’t affect orders already paid for.
Delivery
Templates are digital products delivered by download. After payment, you’ll see a download link straight away and receive the same link by email. The link is valid for 30 days and up to 10 downloads. Please save your file somewhere safe. If your link expires or you lose your file, email hello@cashflowforecasttemplates.co.uk with your order number and we’ll send a new link.
Compatibility
Templates are standard Microsoft Excel (.xlsx) files without macros, tested in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets. Some features, such as chart formatting, may look slightly different in other spreadsheet programs or older versions. Please check the product page for what’s included before you buy.
Your right to cancel (UK and EU consumers)
If you’re a consumer in the UK or EU, you normally have a legal right to cancel an online purchase within 14 days. For digital content that you download straight away, that right ends once the download begins, if you asked for immediate access and acknowledged that you would lose the right to cancel. By completing checkout and starting your download, you ask us to supply the template immediately and acknowledge that your right to cancel ends when the download starts.
This doesn’t affect our refund guarantee below, or your other legal rights.
Our refund guarantee
We want you to be happy with your template. If, within 14 days of purchase:
- the template doesn’t open or work correctly in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets, and we can’t fix the problem for you, or
- the template is materially different from its description on the product page,
email hello@cashflowforecasttemplates.co.uk with your order number and a short description of the problem, and we’ll refund you in full. We may also offer refunds in other circumstances at our discretion.
Refunds are made to the original payment method. When a refund is issued, the licence ends, the download link is disabled, and you should delete any copies of the template.
If a template is faulty or not as described, you also have rights under consumer law, which these terms don’t affect.
Accuracy
We work hard to keep guides and templates accurate and up to date, and we check formulas and examples before publishing. However, we can’t guarantee that every page is complete, current or free from errors. If you spot a mistake, please tell us and we’ll correct it.
Limitation of liability
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or your statutory rights as a consumer.
Subject to that:
- we aren’t liable for business decisions you make using our guides, calculator or templates, or for any loss of profit, revenue, business, savings or data
- if you use a template for business purposes, our total liability to you for any claim relating to a purchase is limited to the amount you paid for it
Links to other websites
The site may link to other websites. We aren’t responsible for their content or their privacy practices.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version in force when you place an order applies to that order. The date at the top shows when these terms were last changed.
